I am wondering if your error code is DS and not D5, which would indicate problems with the door lock assembly communicating with the control board. Essentially, the control board does not believe the door is closed and/or locked, so it shuts down the machine.
All that has been checked, testing dryer while completely apart, Checked all components, everything checks ok except thermistor has 0 ohms, I suspect that to be the problem, but not sure. Dryer does not continue to run, even on the no heat cycle. this dryer is not even 2 years old. Vent is disconnected, as well.

SOURCE: error code FL flashes and
FL error - Flood condition
"FL" flashes if any overfill condition occurs. This condition occurs when
excessive water in the tub causes the overfill switch to trip. The control
must realize that the trip was due to an overfill condition instead of a
suds lock condition in order for "FL" to be displayed.
With an overfill condition, the beeper repeats a warning every 10 seconds
with no time out. The pump is cycled in drain mode for 30 seconds on, 30
seconds off until the overfill switch resets or power is discontinued to
the unit. Press STOP/CANCEL to clear the display.

SOURCE: My washer won't start and
EBE and EBF are console control problems. This could be replacing the control board, rewiring, or replacing a part on the washer. It is always best to consult or hire a professional when you want to repair an appliance.
Please, use this video as reference guide, how to replace washing machine controls in a Hotpoint washing machine...

SOURCE: Washer Flashing Error Code ND; door won't open
Hello,
The ND error code means NO DRAIN. ,
The usually reason the door remains locked once the cycle is over is because the filter screen on the drain pump is blocked so not all the water could drain out...the door lock is tied into the pump and until the pump tells the control board that the wate r is out the door will not unlock. This tip i wrote will show ya how to take apart the washer to clean the filter on the pump.

Hello there and welcome to fixya
From what you're describing it sounds like the drain pump is blocked.
The nd error code indicates "no drain". If the unit can't drain it won't
spin. You're going to have to slide the washer out far enough to remove
the rear panel; be careful not to damage the floor. Once you get the
rear panel off you will see the pump. Be sure to have plenty of towels
& a small container to catch water. I am sending you instructions
from the service manual to remove and replace the pump. Another
possibility is the drain line is blocked or something is stuck in the
tub to pump hose.
Hello
& Welcome to FixYa
I Agree,
I don't think it is any other board, I believe the CCU (central control unit)
has gone bad as it keeps on stopping mid cycle. If it was the Motor Control
Board (MCU) then the washer motor should have been causing problems (which isn't
the case) so replacement of CCU will be a great option. Please get back to me
if you have any other questions.
