My cabrio washing machine from Whirlpool model: WTW6500WW1 does not start when I press the Start button. There is no clicking sound, it flashes as soon as I hit Power than I press nothing starts with the Start button, there is no clicking sound either like the other button, just like it is empty.

1. Turn washer off 2. Set the mode selector dial to normal 3. Turn the dial counterclockwise one click clockwise three clicks counterclockwise one click then clockwise one click 4. Now press the start button

it flashes if the program is in pause mode
press the start button again to get the program to start

bad sensor

It may only think it's overloaded. When the cycle starts the control checks the load to determine how much water to add. If there's a problem like stuck basket or rotor, bad sensor etc it will quit with the error you see.

did you feel the clicking sound when button is press ? if no clicking sound , then it's the switch broken/wire loosen, if you cann't feel the clicking, then the plastic behind the button broken

Possible that the main controller unit is faulty. You need to confirm the voltage on the controller unit and the connectors to the panel.
If there is no support from the controller then it can be faulty.
This requires testing the board for the processor and the set voltages for the board to function which must be measured..

Suspect that stands for LiD. There is likely to be a problem with either the lid solenoid/lock or the 'lid closed' sensor requiring a service engineer's attention I suggest. Sorry ;-0(

Cabrio Start Button Repair

Press STOP/CANCEL to clear the display and completely cancel the cycle

flashes if the washer loses power during a running cycle. The washer does not flash "PF" when it is first plugged in.
Press START to continue the cycle from the moment that power was lost

leave the door open and try it again if it does the same thing as before the door lock has gone
