Looking for TI-83/TI-89 Programming Expert

I'm trying to figure out how to program TI-83 files on the TI-89 (yes, it is possible) according to this site which has all the programs I need, except for it is in TI-83 format. If someone could please explain to me how to re-program these in TI-89, that would be great. Here's the site: http://qcpages.qc.cuny.edu/~groskes/NumAnal2TI83.htm If someone wants to help, please skype me: bwpbruce

Hello,
Check the link below

You may want to check the www.ticalc.org for the TI83. Programs are compatible. To put in your calculator, use the TIConnect software which you will find here.

http://education.ti.com/educationportal/downloadcenter/SoftwareList.do?website=US&tabId=1&paneId=7#9

Scroll down the page for connectivity software.

Hope it helps.

SOURCE: How can you program games

Do not even go there. The calculator is pretty basic and does not have memory to store instructions. If you want to take up programming ( a worthwhile endeavor) buy a graphing calculator such as a TI 89 itanium, a TI Voyage 200PLT, a TINspire, or a Casio Graphing calculator FX 9860 SD, ClassPad 330, or some top of the line HP calculators (HP 49G+, HP 50 G).

Programming Issue : "Error : Variable or Flash application is locked, protected or archived"

Apparently the variable "a" is archived or locked. Press 2ND VAR-LINK (the subtract key). Find the line containing "a". If there's a little x-like thing to the left then its archived. Press F1 9 to unarchive it. If there's a little padlock to the left then its locked. Press F1 7 to unlock it.

Jvc xl z232 wont play burnt cd's

Yes that is very possible, if you are using different formats some players are not programmed to handle certain formats. It is rare to come across cd's that won't play, that would be due to a flaw at production and usually a bad batch.

Can't program, won't turn lites off

"If you need more programming assistance, request form #158ET9311 " from Intermatic.

Or call Intermatic: 815-675-7000

Manual shows example programming on page 17-18:
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/Intermatic-et70415cr.pdf
The instruction manual for this timer does not have step-by-step programming.
There is example programming on page 17-18, but it shows one example.
The timer manual doesn't have step-by-step because the timer prompts the user as the user is programming timer.
As a result, it is difficult to know what step was missed.
It is equally difficult for expert to know what went wrong.
In addition, the timer offers choice of 24 hour or 1-week or 365 day programming.
Also the timer offers choice between 'astro' dawn-dusk' or 'fixed' programming, 'pulse' bell-ringing programming, and 'interval' programming.
And then there are additional programs available for individual days throughout the year if you choose 365 day operation.
Add on top of that, the timer has 4-channel operation where each of the 4 different relay circuits are programmed separately for each of the options mentioned above.
For these reasons, I recommend contacting Intermatic about this timer.

I can't seem to figure out how to program it...

Question posted under battery-operated ST01C timer.
If you have different timer, then add a comment and describe the timer buttons for possible identification.

For ST01C: open following link for clear programming steps with illustrations. You still have to read instructions carefully, but the illustrations help walk thru the process.

How can start to do the program in ti-89 im study civil engineer, and a have programs in fortran

You can find the program editing menu under "Apps". Choose "New..." After you enter the name of your program, you will be able to edit it. To run it, go to the home screen (the screen where you enter mathematical equations), hit 'catalog', then 'f4', and choose the program from the list.

As for the coding itself, this site has a solid reference of many concepts and commands that are involved when programming for the TI-89: http://tibasicdev.wikidot.com/68k:home The best way to learn, however, is to play around and figure things out yourself. Programming for the TI-89 is much more powerful than it is for the previous TI calculators. Best of luck!
