Can't add 1+1 without getting a memory error. Can't transfer anything to the calculator from my PC. Can't scroll on any menus without a memory error. I don't know if it is a hardware problem or an OS problem. Either way I need to re install the calculator's OS to see if that is the problem and I don't know how I would do that without being able to transfer any thing to it...
SOURCE: CANNOT ACCESS MEMORY ON TI-84
Yes i know exactly what that is. This happens when you are in mirage OS and you set that option. What you need to do is take out the batteries when its on or go to mode and press alpha and s (LN) and then it should ask for self check say yes and press enter for like ever. I prefer to take out the batteries Then quickly go to memory and delete the avtar. It should do the trick.

i would say use the normal key pad or send it in to T.I to fix.

Press WINDOW (the second key on the row of function keys at the top of the keyboard) and check your settings. Alternatively, if you're plotting a function press ZOOM 6 to set the standard window range and if you're plotting data press ZOOM 9 to set the range to go with the data.

The problem may be due to a lack of memory in the receiving calculator. Check size of the Inequalz application, the size of the archive memory left on the TI83 Plus, and the number of application spaces that Inequalz requires. An application may require 1,2 or more application spaces. You will have to go to education.ti.com to get the information.
Also, make sure that the batteries are good in both calculators.
