Server disk full in bizhub 420

I used to have no problem with scanner for this machine. I could scan 50-100 pages. Now suddenly it gave error "Server disk full" when we scanned more than 4-5 pages. This printer doesn't have any HDD, only memory and scan directly to email. What is the cause and so how to fix it? Thank you.

SOURCE: MINOLTA SCANNER DiMAGE SCAN ELITE 5400 II

My 5400 2 scanner worked well with windows XP but will not start with my new computer WINDOWS VISTA.
ERROR message Can not find scanner, check connection
ERROR message 1 unknown error

The scanner was purchased new 1-2006

my installation dick is for Win. XP Version 1.0.1.

I use VueScan from Hamrick Software (http://www.hamrick.com/) with excellent results. The learning curve is steep but it's so far the only solution, baring a dual boot machine with an XP option.

Hi, Instead of a whole subject review I would like you to go to Vistaheads.com where this scanner has had a lot of discussion and how some folks have fixed the problem. Use VueScan instead of the Minolta software. A free trial is available so you can test it before you commit to buying it. Available for Windows Vista.

Forget about the Minolta software. It's buggy at best. Use VueScan instead. A free trial is available so you can test it before you commit to buying it. Available for Windows and Mac.

communication error between the main control board and the scanner control board the scanner is that what is below the big glass particularly the mirrors and exposure lamp (Bright light) something is not talking!!!!

Did you set it up to scan to email. info such as authentication, smtp server, valid email address use the copier web page to install this info.

We have a Konica Minolta Bizhub 250 at the office and I want to use it as a scanner...I connected the printer to my laptop using a USB cable but it doesnt send the scanned files to my PC. I'm not really...

First of all, bizhub 250/350 is not a single pc scanner.you cannot use it as a scanner by connecting usb cable with it.its a network scanner.so to use it as a network scanner, you have to do these main steps........
1-assign a free ip address to the machine.
2-ping it from the system to check the connection between machine and computer.
3-now, make a scanner one touch account on the machine.
4-enter computer's ip address in the destination option.
5-create a folder on the desktop of your computer and share it.give it full rights.
6-turn the firewall off.
7-enter the folder name which you have made, in the machine.
8-enter user name and password of your computer in machine.i mean while making scanner one touch account.
9-now place the original on glass and scan it........

Konica Minolta bizhub reads "server disk full": how to unfill server disk? or how to fix?

CAUSE: Machine memory is corrupt and the max out time needs to be increased.

SOLUTION: Perform a Data Clear:
1. Enter the Tech Rep mode.
2. Press System 1.
3. Press Initialization.
4. Press Data Clear.
Also browse to the NIC, enter Admin mode and set the connection timeout for E-mail to 300 seconds.

have you set up your scan Email account with you page Scope disk with the copier. is the server set up for scan to email. Also check the konicaminolta web site for scan operator manual. Down load the scan programs

MACHINE REFUSES TO SCAN SHOWING ERROR EA3229 ON BIZHUB 200 COPIER

As with most communications errors the first thing to always try first is shutting off the copier, unplugging it from the power source for at least 30 seconds, then plugging it back in, powering up and trying the scan-to-email functions again (once network synchronization has been completed by the copier).

EAXXXX is a communication's failure code generated by the copier to state that 1. The LAN cable is not physically connected, 2. Communication with the SMTP server has been lost, or 3. One or more of the e-mail addresses that someone attempted to send mail to doesn't exist or is invalid.

If the scan-to-email functions worked before this and have suddenly stopped, you may want to have your IT department reset the mail server.

It's also possible to have had some changes made to internal network address that has affected the copier's ability to communicate with the servers. Check with your IT to see if they've added any security software, changed network address structures, etc., around the time that the scan functions failed.
