If it still doesnt work with the new batteries, then you might have to send it in.

Call the troubleshooting people- their number is usually in the calculator information packet towards the end somewhat- tell them your problem, and they'll see if you can get it fixed locally or if you have to send it in.

Hope that helps!! :D

Usually this means that you need new batteries.

My TI-84 reads RAM cleared how can i fix this?

Hello.

Means the memory is full and your TI needs to be reset:

There should be a Reset button (press) or a pinhole (push an opened paperclip in the hole and release).

Hope this helps.

My TI-84 Plus won't graph two functions at once. Only one equal sign highlights. My math teacher doesn't even know what to do and I really need two functions to show on one graph.

Hello,
Turn the satistical plots OFF
Press [2nd][Y=] (STATPLOT). Select or enter 4: to execute the command [PlotsOff] [ENTER]

Clear the lists (statistical lists)
Press [2nd][0] (Catalog]. Press [PGRM] C. The cursor jumps to the first command in catalog that starts with C (The greek letters in names do not matter). Scroll down a bit to reach the command [ClrAllLists]. Select it and press [ENTER].

Try your graphs again.
If you still have problems, just reset the RAM:
Press [2nd][+] (MEM). Press 7 to select [Reset] then [1:All Ram][2:Reset]. Press [Clear] to erase the Ram Cleard message.

Now you should be able to draw the graphs.

Hope it helps.
Thanks for using FixYa.

RAM CLEARED?

Hello,
The most likely reason is that the backup battery is drained. Change the backup battery. When you get the Ram Cleared message, just press [CLEAR] to erase the message and start using the calculator.
Hope it helps.

TI-84 Calc is FROZEN

I'd try hooking it to the computer using ti connect explorer and see if deleting the programs there would help. I had a calculator that did the same thing and never did fix it. But if your memory can be delete and reinstalled it might work.

My calucator got wet today wat do i do?

Let it dry for a few more hours or overnight. The RAM has most definitely been cleared, however, and there is little chance to recover any custom formulas you've put in there.

TI-84 Plus Calculator will not turn on, says ram is cleared

Thats because the OS is corrupt. Follow the manual and reload the OS, try the 2.43 OS

My daughter's math teacher cleared her ti-84 plus silver edition calculator for the algebra regents but never put the software back in. how do I get her graphing calculator back to the way it was...

My screen was frozen and I needed to do a manual reset. If you take out 1 battery from the back....hold the "del" key down and reinsert the battery while holding it down....it will reload the programming into the calc
