It depends where you put them - if you plan to put it in
your home office, that make sense and I don't think that you need to hide them.
Remember that there are some very cool colorful looking binders and you can use
them to add a little color and character to your home office. If you are
planning on the living room - it is a different story and then maybe you should
consider bookcases with doors.
