Is there such thing as a single bottle wine cooler?

This is actually a known problem within the wine cooler manufacturing industry. The thermostat has a bad connection, most likely caused by corrosion due to a manufacturing defect. The wine cooler is reading the temperature incorrectly so it thinks it's too warm inside the cabinet and thus continues to try to cool. Although your temperature might read 66°, if you touch the wine bottles they will feel much colder than 66°. It's a simple change of the thermostat and should be covered by your warranty. However, you need to prevent it from happening again so you need to seal the connection point with a hot glue gun to keep moisture out or else it's going to happen again in another 12 months.

Single zone wine coolers have one temperature control and the storage space is undivided so the whole cooler is at the same temperature.

Koldfront makes a great dual zone cooler. I found you one that holds 18 bottles with space for 6 bottles of white wine and 12 bottles of red.

There are so many of them, but I recommend getting one that can hold more than one bottle. Even if you do not want to take 2 bottles of wine, you can always get real wine glasses and store them on the other bottle space. it will keep the grasses from braking.
