SOURCE: Kenmore 70 Series Dryer
The fuse probably blew due to a blockage of some sort. Check your ventpipe. It may be full of lint. The fuse is a small white part held onto the blower housing with 1 screw. It usually can be found under the dust cover on the rear of the dryer. It has 2 small wires hooked to it and it is wired in series with the door switch. When the lint gets built up and dryer over heats and fuse blows. The result is just as if you opened the door.
