SOURCE: Streaks & Smears after changing toner cartridge.

Remove all of your toners and clean them off. Replace each one and make sure they are well setted in the unit before going to the next one. Make sure the carosel turns smoothly and nothing is hanging up on the sides. Reboot the whole printer and let it settle for 5 mins before printing. toners come lose sometimes when you turn carosel around. Hope this helps you these printers are a ***** to deal with ,but when they are right there great.

SOURCE: minolta 2430dl X toner not installed

Hello,
I had this same problem and discovered the CORRECT solution!! The Crum reader is not the issue. That is for reading the level of the toner and telling the printer when iti is low or out. The "Cartridge not installed" issue is caused by poor contacts on the LEFT side of the printer. Look at the toner cartridge on the LEFT side as you are holding the colored cartridge latch. Thos two copper contacts make contact with the 'springs on the left side of the cartridge holder. I user an eraser, alcohol and air to clean the contacts on the toner catreidge but ESPECIALLY the spring contacts on the outside of the cartridge holder. You should clean all four. I went a step further and took the left circuit board off, clean all the "spring contacts and took the black holder with long copper contacts out and cleaned those. The printer is now like a brand new printer. No errors at all!!

Printer error (orange or blinking light)

Printererror (orange or blinking light) After your printer has completed its initial startup you shouldhave a solid green light. If the light indicator is blinking or orange oftenthis is an indication of a printer error. For example, this could indicate a paperjam, issue with the ink or toner cartridge, or other serious error. Because there is no standard to what a blinking light or orangelight means if you're getting either of these we suggest referring to theprinter documentation for troubleshooting steps or methods of determining whatthe status indicator is reporting.

My hp laserjet 1300 printer shows blinking the orange light instead of the green one and I couldn't find out what is the reason

1. Go light/button blinks twice with solid green and orange lights
2. Green light starts blinking with go light twice and then both go off
3. orange light goes off.
4. green light followed by orange light followed by go light cycle twice and a third time by the green light
5.followed by the orange light continuously blinking.

I have already tried the following trouble-shooting:

1. Put in a new cartridge
2. Made sure there is paper properly seated in the tray
3. Made sure all doors closed (I even took off left side to verify no memory cards
4. Verified all doors closed
5. Done a cold reboot by holding the Go button while turning the unit on.
6. Repeated steps 1-5 multiple times.Hope It's resolve all Your Printer Problem,

All four toner lights blinking

it could be that you need to replace all the toners. I do not own this kind of printer, but if it is the same as my inkjets, you have to replace all empty cartridges or it still wont work. try replacing the other toner and see what happens.

Solution for samsung ml 1911 printer bliking red and orange lights

 1. The blinking red light of the printer indicates that a minor error has occurred in the printer. The printer usually resolves the error within a few minutes.
 2. If the light keeps blinking check if the toner cartridge is low, redistribute the toner for the time being.
 3. Order a new toner and replace the existing toner if the issue persists.
 4. If you see the solid red light, clear any jammed paper. Pull the standard paper tray out and make sure the paper is placed correctly.
 5. Check the manual tray as well and remove any torn paper bits stuck in the tray.
 6. Make sure the printer's front cover is closed. Make sure the toner cartridge is installed correctly.

You can see four LED's on control panel, from top to bottom,1st is toner indication 2nd Attention 3rd is Ready light, 4th go light.. Observe led's are 'blinking' or 'On' condition.. # If toner light is blinking ="toner cartridge missing or contact problem or memory faulty.
# If toner light & ready lights are on= "toner low indication or refilled cartridge loaded".

Lexmark e260d printer 4th light orange is continuously flashing. New toner cartridge was installed. Not printing

If the blinking light is on Toner Low (4th light starting from left), press and release the Continue button (green button) to clear the light sequence and continue processing the print job. If the light is still blinking, the photoconductor is almost full and should be replaced.

The top light of the two is flashing green/red back and forth very fast and the light on the bottom is a solid red. how do I fix this so that way it will work normally

The steady lower light indicates the unit needs a new toner cartridge, MLT-D108S. Did you previously see this light blinking or blinking rapidly? (Those indicate the toner being low.) Replace the cartridge and check for any other error lights. Turn off the machine and let it cool. Then open the front cover and pull the old toner cartridge. Open the package with the new cartridge, remove the packing tape and paper that protects the cartridge and gently shake it (avoid touching the blue or green parts of the OPC drum). Press the cartridge into the slot until it is fully seated. Close the front cover.

The green/red blinking power light is not one I'm seen before. The printer indicates a non-toner failure (open cover, no paper, LSU failure, etc.) with a steady red light.
