(prob erratic connection on pc board finding same problem.) Can you be more spacific? Is it the power connection going into the board? Where is it located? Will cleaning the connection solve the problem? Thanks Dave

Can you be more spacific? Did you pull it fully apart eg, the whole case. If so make sure the ribbon or conectors are connected back to the board, even the slightests bit off can cause it to not work.
HI; MOST LIKELY CAUSE IS "Y SUSTAIN" BOARD. TRY TO FIND ONE ON EBAY. IF ATTEMPTING TO FIX THIS YOURSELF, BE VERY CAREFULL TO MAKE SURE THE POWER SUPPLY IS COMPLETELY DRAINED BEFORE REMOVING BOARD. ALSO, WHEN INSTALLING NEW BOARD, KEEP IN MIND THAT IT IS VERY SENSITIVE TO STATIC DISCHARGE, SECONDLY, CONNECT THE RIBBON CABLE ON BOTTOM RIGHT OF BOARD ONLY AFTER ALL SCREWS ARE TIGHT AND OTHER CONNECTORS ARE SEATED ( MAKE SURE THE RIBBONCABLE IS FIRMLY SEATED AND LOCKED DOWN). AFTER INSTALLATION,CONNECT SET TO A VERY GOOD SIGNAL SOURCE, AND ALLOW SET TO WARM UP FOR ABOUT 20 MINUTES, THEN (USING LARGE, CLEAN MIRROR) SLIGHTLY ADJUST "SETUP AND SETDOWN" MINIATURE POTENTIOMETERS UNTILL THERE ARE NO SPARKLES.
GOOD LUCK!!
Hello, If everything else works - there is sound and high voltage (static on the screen) - but there is no picture (including no on-screen menus), this limits the likely area of problems is the video output circuitry or CRT filament connections. Check to see if the CRT filaments are glowing. If they are not glowing, check for bad soldering on the CRT neck board and around the flyback transformer.
Where the picture is erratic - coming and going entirely or changing brightness suddenly, with power off, remove the picture tube socket (carefully!) and clean the pins with fine sandpaper and use contact cleaner on the socket. This source of bad connections can result in a variety of erratic symptoms. Check for bad solder connections on the CRT neck board.

You can buy Lan card at any computer store, just give them the spacification of your computer and model, they will give you the Lan card compatible to your computer.
Lan card is a board that you will attach to *********** board, it have an connector for you lan cable so that you can connect to a modem to connect to the internet.
Power up the pc and see if the fans are working. If not then double check the power connections to the board.
If you still have no fans it is time to suspect the power supply as the probable cause.
If the fans worked then you should have gotten a display which told you there was an error and offering you a chance to go into the BIOS. ignore it and shut down the PC.
Now connect one drive only and boot again.
Repeat that until you identify the component that is giving you a problem.
Once you find the problem then remove or disconnect and carry on with the rest to see if another component might also cause a problem
If there is only one problem device then you may want to investigate that device further, Unless you don't mind replacing it
Most projections have a removable speaker cover on the front under the screen. Then there is an access panel that you remove the CRT sockets are the circuit boards attached to the CRTs
