It is an attempt to get people to post a question here and hopefully get help--it also generates hits for the site--

When searching try to word the search to avoid what you do not want--some will Google looking for a owner manual when should Google with model number and just "manual".

There are other forums on the net but it can take time when searching to use the right keywords(search engines will find this site as it keys on many specific words).

As an expert who answers questions here (average of 300 a week for free) the other side of the coin is many post questions here with little or no basic information--brand-model number--clear description etc.

I had someone looking here and over the entire internet for a owner manual or explanation of why remote and keys on set would not function--no brand or model--when asked told me had manual but nothing in there helped--took a few minutes to locate that owner manual and on page 29 was the info he needed---told him and also commented nicely--if all else fails read the manual.

Reply within minutes was--OPPs and thanks--problem resolved.

Not all problems can be solved or answered depending on equipment or number of experts available.

If you have a TV with a problem feel free to post it here Attention
SD TECH with brand, model and as good a description as possible and I will attempt to help.

How can I optimize amazon listing?

At first, the sellers need to find out the exact keywords that the potential customers will search into the search box of Amazon,
One way to find the keywords is by doing competitor analysis like what titles, descriptions and bullet points they are using for their products.
After that you need to perform certain tasks which are as follows:
Draft a keyword-rich title
Use Bullet points and highlight the most important information
Write a detailed and catchy description of the produc
tip

SEO Tips and Tricks

Basic SEO OPTIMIZATION Tips!

1. Insert keywords within the title tag so that search engine robots will know what your page is about. The title tag is located right at the top of your document within the head tags. Inserting a keyword or key phrase will greatly improve your chances of bringing targeted traffic to your site.
Make sure that the title tag contains text which a human can relate to. The text within the title tag is what shows up in a search result Treat it like a headline.

2. Use the same keywords as anchor text to link to the page from different pages on your site. This is especially useful if your site contains many pages. The more keywords that link to a specific page the better.

3. Make sure that the text within the title tag is also within the body of the page. It is unwise to have keywords in the title tag which are not contained within the body of the page.
Adding the exact same text for your h1 tag will tell the reader who clicks on your page from a search engine result that they have clicked on the correct link and have arrived at the page where they intended to visit. Robots like this too because now there is a relation between the title of your page and the headline.
Also, sprinkle your keywords throughout your article. The most important keywords can be bolded or colored in red. A good place to do this is once or twice in the body at the top of your article and in the sub-headings.

4. Do not use the exact same title tag on every page on your website. Search engine robots might determine that all your pages are the same if all your title tags are the same. If this happens, your pages might not get indexed.
I always use the headline of my pages as the title tag to help the robots know exactly what my page is about. A good place to insert the headline is within the h1 tag. So the headline is the same as the title tag text.

5. Do not spam the description or keyword meta tag by stuffing meaningless keywords or even spend too much time on this tag. SEO pros all agree that these tags are not as important today as they once were. I just place my headline once within the keywords and description tags.

6. Do not link to link-farms or other search engine unfriendly neighborhoods.

7. Do not use doorway pages. Doorway pages are designed for robots only, not humans. Search engines like to index human friendly pages which contain content which is relevant to the search.

8. Title tags for text links. Insert the title tag within the HTML of your text link to add weight to the link and the page where the link resides. This is like the alt tag for images.
My site contains navigation menus on the left and right of the page. The menu consists of links not images. When you hover over the link with your mouse, the title of the link appears. View the source of this page to see how to add this tag to your links.

9. Describe your images with the use of the alt tag. This will help search engines that index images to find your pages and will also help readers who use text only web browsers.

10. Submit to the search engines yourself. Do not use a submission service or submission software. Doing so could get your site penalized or even banned.

Google Tips (Know your friendly search engine -> google)

Google is clearly the best general-purpose search engine on the Web
But most people don't use it to its best advantage. Do you just plug in a keyword or two and hope for the best? That may be the quickest way to search, but with more
than 3 billion pages in Google's index, it's still a struggle to pare results to a manageable number.
But Google is an remarkably powerful tool that can ease and enhance your Internet exploration. Google's search options go beyond simple keywords, the Web, and
even its own programmers. Let's look at some of Google's lesser-known options.
Syntax Search Tricks
Using a special syntax is a way to tell Google that you want to restrict your searches to certain elements or characteristics of Web pages. Google has a fairly complete
list of its syntax elements at
www.google.com/help/operators.html
Here are some advanced operators that can help narrow down your search results.
Intitle: at the beginning of a query word or phrase (intitle:"Three Blind Mice") restricts your search results to just the titles of Web pages.
Intext: does the opposite of intitle:, searching only the body text, ignoring titles, links, and so forth. Intext: is perfect when what you're searching for might commonly
appear in URLs. If you're looking for the term HTML, for example, and you don't want to get results such as
www.mysite.com/index.html
, you can enter intext:html.
Link: lets you see which pages are linking to your Web page or to another page you're interested in. For example, try typing in
link:http://www.google.com

Try using site: (which restricts results to top-level domains) with intitle: to find certain types of pages. For example, get scholarly pages about Mark Twain by searching
for intitle:"Mark Twain"site:edu. Experiment with mixing various elements; you'll develop several strategies for finding the stuff you want more effectively. The site:
command is very helpful as an alternative to the mediocre search engines built into many sites.
Swiss Army Google
Google has a number of services that can help you accomplish tasks you may never have thought to use Google for. For example, the new calculator feature
(www.google.com/help/features.html#calculator)
lets you do both math and a variety of conversions from the search box. For extra fun, try the query "Answer to life the universe and everything."
Let Google help you figure out whether you've got the right spelling—and the right word—for your search. Enter a misspelled word or phrase into the query box (try "thre
blund mise") and Google may suggest a proper spelling. This doesn't always succeed; it works best when the word you're searching for can be found in a dictionary.
Once you search for a properly spelled word, look at the results page, which repeats your query. (If you're searching for "three blind mice," underneath the search
window will appear a statement such as Searched the web for "three blind mice.") You'll discover that you can click on each word in your search phrase and get a
definition from a dictionary.
Suppose you want to contact someone and don't have his phone number handy. Google can help you with that, too. Just enter a name, city, and state. (The city is
optional, but you must enter a state.) If a phone number matches the listing, you'll see it at the top of the search results along with a map link to the address. If you'd
rather restrict your results, use rphonebook: for residential listings or bphonebook: for business listings. If you'd rather use a search form for business phone listings,
try Yellow Search

How do you answer questions that appear in the Search section of the iPhone app? There are some that definitely have alternative answers that the user may appreciate. I just don't see the "solve it" b

I can't remember exactly how I started answering questions.
1) You can contact fixya. Do a google seach for 'contact fixya?'
Here is long answer:
2) I think I began in the following way: Down at bottom of page are categories, example such as computers and electronics.
Select a category and a page comes up with subset of topics.
Click on one of those subsets, and another page comes up showing more specific list of products, with 'problems/solutions.'
Select problems. And a list of problems comes up, and these are usually dated, and not the current list of problems.
Click one of the problems:
Start answering these problems, and fixya monitors the quality of answers.
3) At some point I discovered 'My Home' page by clicking on my sign-in name at top right corner of page.
Was it always there? Maybe, and I just didn't notice.
Currently, I click on my name to arrive at 'My Home'
And the My Home link appears on left side of page short ways down from top of page.
My Home is evidently unique to my IP address, and sign in.
Maybe you have that page already.
Below link for My Home is link for Answer, My products, My Friends.
I click on Answer link and expanded menu appears with general topic categories. And a full list of current questions appears.
Or click on a topic from the expanded menu, and list of current questions appears about the specific topic.
Click on any question to read the question, and below question is answer box where you answer current question.
Many times the questions are posted under products that have nothing to do with the question. For example automotive questions posted under water heaters. etc
I do not control what questions are filtered to my IP address, but am reasonably certain that I see a selected number of questions asked under that category.
4) How do you find a specific question that was asked and answered before, so that you can add a comment?
Contact fixya?
Otherwise, I don't know. Unless you google search the exact same question, and the link at fixya shows up in the search parameter, and then you can add a comment.
5) Add a webpage to your website that is titled exactly like the question, and maybe google will link to that page.

Sound driver is not activated as i lost my motherboard cd.my mother board is intel845

First try with this (click here), open the link and click "Check your system for the latest updates" and follow the onscreen instructions, it will help you update all the required/necessary drivers of your motherboard.

If it's not helpful download and install this (click here) and search with your exact motherboard model. Since you didn't mention the exact motherboard model and the Operating System installed on your computer, i can't direct/make all these specific. If you need further help, let me know the exact motherboard model and the name of the operating system installed on your system.

Incomplete print job

Remove the printer from the computer either through the Device Manager or from the Printers folder. Get the latest driver from the manufacturer (I would have provided a link had you thought to mention the name of the manufacturer). Unplug your printer from the computer - reboot - using the latest driver for your printer that matches the operating system running on your computer, reinstall the software. Follow the instructions exactly!!

Your printer is compatable with your OS, right? If you are not sure, search 'Microsoft Comatability List for (enter your OS name)'. When you arrive, review the list for your printer, if it is listed, and there is still a problem, you have a problem we can solve. If it is now listed, go to the printer manufacturer for the driver for your OS. You don't mention what OS you have. If your printer doesn't have a driver for your OS, you are probably out of luck though there are some obscure sources for noon conforming printer drivers. Your best bet is to upgrade your printer.

Excel lookup - match index array

The best solution may be to re-define the named columns, or to add new names to multi-column arrays, then use the VLOOKUP function.
Note that the "indexed" named cells must be sorted by the index column.
