Trying to remove a link on a ceramic dkny watche

Get new watch.

I sustect that these are ceramic links. Your best bet would be to set up a search on eBay - you might get lucky and get a non-worker cheap that has links that you could use.

Instructions

1. • 1 Determine the amount of links that need to be removed for the watch to fit on your arm correctly.
     
   • 2 Find the tiny holes on each link. Most DKNY link wristwatches, such as the 3107 model, have holes at the links near the clasp.
     
   • 3 Using the screwdriver, gently push the pin holding the link bar on the first link you want to remove. The link bar should come out on the other side.
     
   • 4 Take the pliers and completely remove the link bar from the band. The link band will still be attached to the clasp. Remove the link with the pliers. Repeat Steps 1 through 4 for each additional link you want to remove.
     
   • 5 Gather the watch band and and bring the two sides back together. Join the link bar and the clasp together and, using the screwdriver, press the link bar back into the hole completely.

there are pins in the watch the pins have one large end and one small end you want to push the small side into the watch, make sure the pin can come out the other side you can use a thumb tack usually.

OK, I make an attempt:

I saw on other pictures on the web that the links have small holes at the side. There should be some links with arrows r another marking. These are usually the links that can be removed to shorten the strap.

If there is a small arrow on the link, it means that you can push out the pin inside the hole in the direction of the arrow. Then the link can be detached.
You can push it out with a blunt sewing needle (break off the tip).

Remove links on both sides of the watch when resizing it.
