Not always but sometimes simple multiplication or addition displays an incorrect answer and after it is "E3". The capitol E is about half the size of the 3.
Ok there is not a problem. the "E" is the calculators way of scientific notation. So if u were to see 1.70 e3 it would really mean 1.70 x 10^3 which is 1700. If these are small numbers and you are getting these "e" ur calculator is in scientific notation mode. Press "mode" then at the top highlight the word "normal" and hit enter. You will be back in normal calculator mode.
