Unable to send scanned document

Using Canon ImageRunner

Scanned document and tried to email to my computer. Has been successful up till now but failed as of yesterday (to anyone, not just to my email address).

Unable to identify the problem. Can you help, please?

What error code are you getting? Try to scan again and let it fail. Press system monitor, scan, log. Look for jobs with Result of NG. Highlight one and press details. At the top, look for Result: NG (####). It will display an error number there. What is that error number?

751 cannot connect to server
7xx cannot connect ...
8xx could connect, but error...
801 bad user/pw or firewall
802 user/permissions
899 unknown if successful, may be normal

Check additional functions, system settings, network settings, email/ifax settings. Check SMTP server IP and authentication / encryption.

Ignore POP or recieve options as they are for IFAX.

IR2200 series cannot scan to email. IR2200i series can.
For IR2200 series only option is Canon Network ScanGear Tool, Google it and download from Canon site and read the manual.

Canon 2030i scanned document in memory - Need to clear
you follow this step :
- press button ADDITIONAL FUNCTION
- press button number 2 and 8 (press simultaneously with two fingers)
- press button ADDITIONAL FUNCTION again.
service mode will come out on the screen
- press FUNCTION on the screen
- press CLEAR
- press R CON
- press OK (bottom right side of the screen)
- swicth OFF the copier
- wait for 3 or 5 second
- swicth ON the copier
