Why have you set -4? Or do you mean fahrenheit?
Clean condenser and check not frozen up in evaporator. Fully defrost and recheck. If all else definitely working, suspect short of gas.

Kelvinator fridge not cooling

Try defrosting the fridge. Check the cold plate at the back of the food compartment once the fridge has been defrosted and turned back on again. The cold plate in the freezer (around the walls) will be cold to touch as will the cold plate at the back of the fridge,

My Frost Free Fridge-Freezer has a problem. Upper portion, freeze all the fruits and vegetable, and lower portion not freezing any poultry meat etc. We have contacted a local dealer, and he need spare...

Hello,

Most times this is a bad cold control, but there are other things to check for. Make sure the condenser fan is working and the coils are not covered with dust. A separated heat exchanger ( small capillary tubing soldered to the large suction line ) can separate from one another and make the fridge run too long. - tape tubing back together. A poor working evaporator fan motor could also make the fridge run too long and freeze - replace the fan motor. An inefficient compressor or refrigeration system could make the fridge run too long and freeze - have a service tech check this out. A misaligned control settings, make sure the air damper and cold control have not been bumped and are out of normal settings. Stuck open air diffusers or air dampers are becoming more and more common for allowing too much air to be blown into the fresh food section and freezing things. On all frost free fridge's the freezer temp air is blown into the fresh food section, if you have "easy" to freeze items ( eggs, veggies in water, etc ) in front of or under where the freezer temp air comes out, they could freeze - store them in a different spot. Doors not closing properly making the fridge run too long is something else to check for.

Check the cold control and the air deflector. As you know, the deflector directs the freezer air toward the front of the frig and the rear of the cold control.
Hope this helpout .....

My performa refrigerator,on top,of unit is freezing all the food .where should the dial be set?

The fridge section shouldn't ever freeze anything.
The fridge gets its cold air from the freezer through a vent(damper) between the freezer and fridge. The fan in the freezer blows air through it. There is a flap you adjust with the fridge temp. control. Make sure it's opening and closing when you adjust the fridge temp ..

Refrigerator does not get cold

In your freezer section, there should be a "control" for the freezer temp. I say "control" because the knob is attached to a flap that only controls airflow the the lower section. If the knob is turned to coldest it will block almost all of the air from getting into your fresh food section.

Refrigerator side temp keeps dropping below freezing.

Set the freezer temp control to MAX cold and see if it improves.
If not replace the off/on thermostat.(cold control)

I have a GE SxS that I bought in Sept. 06. About

First you need to turn the freezer temp control back on(That just turned the whole refrigerator off)
The water dispenser may have stopped due to line freezing inside the refrigerator.
The ticking could have been the the element for the defrost cycle or the starter on the compressor.
So,turn it back on,set the temp to a normal setting and if the ticking is still there, wait 30 minutes to see if it stops,If no ticking is there when you restart it,wait 24 hour and check the temp inside as well as the water and ice dispenser,If all work,It is a defrost issue. If so you will either need a defrost timer, defrost element,or defrost thermostat.
If the ticking is still there,You will need to replace the start/run capacitor.
