TV power will not stay on.

We have a 55 inch Mitsubishi TV WS-55819 Model. TV power will not stay on - green light cuts off after about 2 seconds.

It sounds like I have the same problem. The TV turns on for a few seconds (with the timer light), then shuts off. Can someone tell me what part I need?

Mine was the 904 and 905 pico fuses in the power board. $4.00 is what the fuses cost me. I put them in myself and have never worked on a tv before....

Not worth to fix.Either power supply, sensor or convertion board are too costly for the part.Buy a new TV.

What does a 2-3 dignostic code on a Mitsubishi 55819 mean?

2blink-then 3 blink---------deflection circuit problem

It is a little misleading but means something in Horizontal or high voltage circuit (covers a lot of area inside the set) is bad.

Going to need a service manual, etc to try to track it down.

Entire chassis for this set can be removed====called a light box.

Mitsubishi WS-55819 TV Wont turn on.

code stands for loss of vertical. I had one of these if you can check pico fuses, check the ones on the main power board the one with the 2 convergence amps if any of them are blown then most likely the convergence amps have shorted out.

Mitsubish WS-819 Protective Shutdown. 2 blinks, pause, 2 blinks

Over 95% of the time a 2 - 2 blink code on that model is a convergence output problem. You need to replace both of the convergence output IC's and perhaps the pico fuses feeding them voltage. The pico fuses are F9A04 and F9A05. They are on the same board with the convergence outputs.

Mitsubishi WS-55819 power issue

No, that'll do it. Once you've changed em you'll know right away if somethin isn't right. But take faith and fire that puppy up. If the pix is good you did good. If something is amiss. I'd be happy to walk you through it. My money is on you though.

Mitsubishi WS-55819 Won't turn on

If F9A04 and F9A05 are open the convergence ICs will need to be replaced as well as the two pico fuses. You will need two STK392-570 Convergence ICs and two 5 amp pico fuses. You ca get the replacement parts at the following link with free installation instructions. heres thelink.

LED Blinking

Okay 2 blinks isnt a error code, so your set isnt shutting down due to a protection issue, so I would suspect one of the low voltage regulator transistors or the horizontal output transistor as being defective
