SOURCE: I am changing the halogen

Please take help from the following: www.aandrews.com or call 1-852-2793-6400 or 1-852-2763-7901.

After feeling loose you must still try to move while keeping the pressure on the bulb. That way it will completely be removed.

My clippers are pulling the dog hair instead of cutting, why?

Most common cause will be the blades have gone dull and should be sharpened or replaced. Check that the 2 screws on the blade latch assy are tight where it screws onto the front housing, blade off to check them. 3rd thing to check is for excessive wear in the lever that drives the blades, if it is worn replace it.

2002 GMC Yukon XL brake light replacement

Hello Weaver124!
Open the tailgate(s) completely and you'll find two phillips-head screws on the inside edge of the tail light assembly. Take out those two screws (keep one hand on the assembly when you remove the last screw) and the whole tail light assembly will come off of the vehicle. On the back side of the tail light assembly, twist and remove the light bulb housing for the blown bulb. The bulbs themselves on some models vary in the manner in which they are removed: (1) If the base on the bottom of the bulb itself is a *round* brass base, press down on the bulb then twist it to remove it, or (2) If the base on the bottom of the bulb itself is *flat* plastic, pull the bulb straight out of the assembly. To replace the bulb, simply reverse the order. Best wishes!

Cant get the bulb out of the headlight

  • Locate the headlight socket cover inside the engine compartment. The cover is on the back of the headlight assembly; it is round and made of plastic or rubber.
  • 2 Remove the headlight socket cover by pulling it off or twisting it to the left and then pulling it off. You can see the headlight socket once the cover is removed.
  • 3 Grip the headlight socket, turn it to the left and pull it out of the assembly. The light bulb is connected to the socket.
  • 4 Pull the bulb straight out of the socket and discard it in a waste receptacle.
  • 5 Plug the replacement bulb into the socket, taking care not to touch the glass. The oils on your skin can shorten the life of the bulb if you touch the glass. Wear gloves to prevent touching the glass.
  • 6 Place the socket back into the light assembly and turn it to the right to lock it in place.
  • 7 Slide the headlight socket cover over the socket and press on it to secure it, or turn it to the right, depending on how you have removed it in Step 2.
  • 8 Repeat Steps 2 through 7 to replace the other headlight bulb.

  • please give good rateing if this helps thank you

Need to replace headlight lens on a 1996 dodge avenger

Usually, one has to get the entire headlight assembly to replace the lens.
    Is it cracked?
If it is just faded, try some anti-haze polish for headlights. This can save you some money compared to restoring the headlamp by replacing the assembly (which may be available from a salvage yard).

    REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

    CAUTION
Halogen bulbs contain gas which is under
pressure. Handling the bulbs incorrectly could cause it to shatter into flying
glass fragments. Do NOT leave the light switch ON. Always allow the bulb to cool
before removal. Handle the bulb only by the base; avoid touching the glass
itself. Whenever handling a halogen bulb, ALWAYS follow these precautions:

    • Turn the headlight switch OFF and allow the bulb to cool before
changing it. Leave the switch OFF until the change is complete.
    • ALWAYS wear eye protection when changing a halogen bulb.
    • Handle the bulb only by its base. Avoid touching the glass.
    • DO NOT drop or scratch the bulb.
    • Keep dirt and moisture away from the bulb.
    • Place the used bulb in the new bulb's package and dispose of it properly.
