You need to download starter edition-app4math
Solving an equation in one variable. (Also
known as finding the roots or x-axis intercepts.)
a) Enter the function and graph.
b) Press 2nd, CALC.
c) Press 2 to select
zero.
d) Move the cursor to the left of the intercept and press ENTER.
e) Move the cursor to the right of the intercept and press
ENTER.
f) Press ENTER again.
g) The root wilI appear at the bottom of the screen.
NOTE: This
can also be done using the Solver. See the last item in this section for
that procedure.
