Facebook is a great social networking site and it easy to use. But, some people will be surprised to see that there are a lot of choices and options found within the personal settings of a facebook.com account. Changing your email address for a facebook.com account should be an easy thing to do, but with all of the options out there, it's not always at easy as it seems! I will show you in a few short easy steps how to change your facebook.com email address that is on file.

Instructions.
1.The first think you need to do is log into your facebook account.

2.Once logged into facebook.com, click on the "Settings" option that is at the top toolbar in blue.

3.On the Settings page, the third option on the list will be "Email." Click on the "change" link on the right hand side of the screen.

4.Once you click on "change," you will see a new field appear called "New Email." Simply enter your new email address in the "New Email" field and click "Add New Email."

5.Once you complete that step, you will need to re-enter your facebook.com password for security purposes.

Someone has requested to change my Facebook password. What should I do?

Just change it, and inform it to that person. Just pass the new password to him/or her too. Then, just get ready to go to jail.

Im trying to play zynga poker on facebook but its comeing up with thisSECURITY ALERT! Zynga Poker sent you an email regarding possible unauthorized access to your Facebook and Zynga Poker account. This...

Your account might have been hacked. I suggest that you change the password immediately.

Chances are that you might have forgotten to logout and just closed your facebook window during your previous session and didn't clicked on LOG OUT or SIGN OUT. If you did, if someone else goes to facebook.com, it's going to show that you're still logged in and things can get bad if the person wants to do nasty things to your account.

Hope this helps.

.I cannot get into my

From my answer at http://www.fixya.com/support/t8642854-cannot_get_into:
I can think of two scenarios where this might happen.
1. You went to www.facebook.com and someone else (another Mary) is already logged in.
2. Another Mary must have used that computer (for example, Mary98 or Mary94) and saved her password on that web browser. Whenever you type your log-in details, the web browser triggers the auto-complete feature of the browser.
In both cases, all you need to do is log out (Account --> Log Out) and retype your log-in details making sure that you type them completely.

My facebook page has been hacked into and passwords have been changed - how can i get the use of my facebook back

If you used a friends computer or a computer other than your own, that person who owns that computer has your password because you probably didn't log off Facebook. Then they changed the password. Try to recall when you logged into Facebook on someone else's computer - they have the password.
