SOURCE: in minolta bizhub 350 pc drum change
Two Options:
1) Reset the PC/life; I/C Life and DV counter and run F8.
2) The same than before but change the PC drum.

This means that imaging unit of your photocopier machine should be replaced.its life is over now.
SOURCE: On my bizhub 250 copier,
This is a service technician performed function. The PC Drum unit is changed by removing the whole imaging unit and then removing the drum section and changing it out. At the same time the developer needs to be cleaned from the developing unit and replaced with fresh developer. The drum counter is then reset using the service mode and then the new developer must be calibrated using the F8 mode. So in this machine's case, this is just not a pull out the old unit and plug in a new one.
If you find the "right" service guy, he can come in and reset the drum counter and do the f8 without changing either the drum or the developer. This can sometimes get twice the life out of the unit. Copy quality can degrade a bit towards the end of the second cycle.
If you just reset it your looking at around $100. If you do everything that is called for then the cost is more like $350.
Good Luck and Thank You for using Fixya.
