I rented a whirlepool cabrio washer and it is giving me F error messages with everything on the wheel hilighted whats that mean and what can I do if it is a rented appliance?

The Cabrio Washer F2 error happens when the main control detects a stuck key on the user interface. The steps to take to try and fix the F2 code problem are below:

Unplug the washer for five minutes and then plug it back in, this will reset the control board.
If the persists then the only way to fix it is to replace the user interface board.

Check you water supply to make sure one or both of the lines are clear. Remove the lines fro the washer and clear screens if need be.

Thanks for using FixYa. Error oL means overloaded and it flashes when the machine/motor control detects a load size that exceeds the washer’s capacity. To clear this error you’ll have to open the door lid to clear display, remove excess laundry, then restart the cycle. This error should be fixed by whirlpool as its a common issue with whirlpool Cabrio washers, you can call 1-800-253-1301 whirlpool will send a tech. to fix it and pay for the part. Long drain error can be caused by something plugging the drain hose or a kink. Tale it off th drain while it is pumping out and check for a good flow. If the hose is ok the pump may have an obstruction causing low flow and it will have to be cleaned out.

I recently started getting this message as well. I found out that I accidentally switched the hot and cold water lines into the washer. After switching so hot goes to hot and cold goes to cold the 'hc' message has stopped.

f1 code means the main control needs to be replaced. pretty common repair
