Remove the 5/16" allen cap screw on the end of the shaft. The knife assembly slides onto the crankshaft and is keyed with a woodruff key. Soak the shaft in pentrating oil overnight and try to slide it off or use more persuasive measures like tapping or a slide hammer. You'll see a big nut it's a LH thread so to remove it turn it CCW. The rest is straight forward. I can send you the owners manual if you provide an email address. It illustrates the process in detail. Ronald
