Excessive wobble My Maytag Neptune Model FAV6800AWW recently started to wobble so badly when loaded it stops spinning. However, when I run the spin cycle unloaded, it completes the cycle fine.

We have had a neptune since 2005, it has wobbled since day one. When the drum is empty and you spin it you can see it spin in an elipse. Now it is burning into the rubber diaphram ( $150 shipping) at the front opening and smoking up the clothes. I just wasted $180 getting someone to look at it and replacing the water pump that was also broken, a coin had slipped down into it somehow.. Un balanced load has nothing to do with it. I will probably sell it on ebay and cut my losses. My mother bought an LG at the same time and has never had a problem.
