dude hook it up to your computer right click view what windows says is your space IS IT FULL OR CLOSE ?yes, delete some songs/mp3s no its probably junk or you can try to format via windows and the right click thing and put on some new mp3s you may of possibly downloaded a corrupted mp3 to the device

try to view files/mp3s on your home computer delete any extra you have to free up space if not try a complete format of your mp3 player may have downloaded corrupt files to it

How to put limewire songs to my mp3 without having to download anything
You will not need to download anything to Transfer Mp3s from Limewire to this Player. The songs you downloaded from Limewire should be in a folder somewhere. When you set up Limewire you created this folder or used the default folder they provided. Just connect your Mp3 player to your computer. Your computer should recognize it as a drive and Appear in "My Computer". Double click on the Mp3 player icon in My Computer. This will open up the player. Then with the player and the Limewire folder open just drag the Mp3s onto your Player. You can also use this little player as a USB storage device to store other files. Barbie mp3 player
This works with Barbie MP3 player model BAR901:
If the songs are iTunes Store format (copy protected AAC) you can burn them to a CD (preferably a CD-RW, which you can reuse over and over) which in effect converts then songs to AIFF format with no copy protection, then import them as MP3s back into iTunes (Advanced > Create MP3 Version). (Note: Be sure iTunes > Preferences > General > Import Settings... > MP3 encoder is selected, or you will get Create AAC Version in the menu). Make sure View > View Options... > Kind is selected so you can sort the songs by the kind info column (that is, MP3 not AAC). Then drag your new MP3s out of the window into the main level folder of the Barbie MP3 player. Erase the MP3s from iTunes if you don't need them, since you already have AAC versions. Phew, not easy.
If you have a physical CD rather than iTunes store purchase, it's way easier; just import the tunes as MP3 (Advanced > Create MP3 Version, see above) and drag them into the Barbie player's root folder. The songs play then on the MP3 player. ;-)

Can't download songs
I don't really know how Rhapsody works - do you have to download strait from the site to player, or do you save the files to your hard drive in between. If you have them as individual mp3 or wav files on your hard drive try using a different media player.

I did read in the installation guide for my ma566 that its not compatible with downloads "purchased from" itunes. Maybe its the same thing with Rhapsody?

Re: the xp vs win98 - on a phone call to Nextar tech support, I was told that if you have XP you don't need to use the driver disk but you might need to help the computer search online for updated drivers. I'm not sure if your saying your issue is that your COMPUTER is acutally 98 when it was "supposed to be" Xp, or if you are trying to use the 98 driver disk on xp and its not working.

Did your computer ever even recognize that the mp3 player existed? Or are you getting a specific error message?

When i dowload music on to my mp3, some music doesnt show up
Check the bitrate of the songs which didn't make it. If they are too low they are ignored. Also some machines won't tolerate VBR MP3s (variable bitrate) Downloading songs off the Internet can be the cause of this problem. Not all people converting music to MP3s for the Internet use the same specifications. In future keep an eye on the bitrates of the music. Many people use lower rates so they can fit more on their computers but the portable players don't always like them. BMW
