When you are spray painting and you over spray or make an error and get it were you do not want it you can clean it off of car paint, metal, tile, chrome, glass, most plastics, smooth stone, counter tops and more (Not wood, material or porous stone).
As soon as you can, do the following:
Use a can of carburetor cleaner from the auto parts store and spray it on a clean cloth (not you item).
Place the cloth over your finger tips where it is wet.
Use light circle up paint. It will come right off on the cloth right away.
Re-spray your cloth in a new area very often.and wipe

How to spray paint my atv

To spray paint your ATV frame matte black, you will need the following materials:
  • Matt black spray paint specifically designed for use on metal surfaces
  • A clean, well-ventilated workspace
  • Masking tape and newspaper or plastic sheeting to cover any parts of the ATV you do not want to paint
  • Primer specifically designed for use on metal surfaces
  • A paint respirator to protect your lungs from inhaling fumes
  • A spray gun or spray can
  • Sandpaper or a wire brush to prepare the surface of the frame
Before you begin, it's important to properly prepare the surface of the frame by cleaning it thoroughly and removing any rust or old paint. Use sandpaper or a wire brush to remove any loose paint or rust. Once the frame is clean and dry, apply a coat of primer specifically designed for metal surfaces. This will help the paint adhere better and ensure a smooth finish.
Allow the primer to dry completely before applying the first coat of matte black spray paint. Hold the spray gun or can about 8-10 inches away from the surface and apply the paint in thin, even coats. Allow each coat to dry completely before applying the next. Once the final coat is dry, you can remove the masking tape and newspaper or plastic sheeting and reassemble the ATV.

What causes fisheyes using an inexpensive HVLP system with Tremclad metal paint on aluminum?

Here is some information to solve the problem.

Fish Eyes: A surface depression or crater in the wet paint film. Fish eyes are caused by repulsion of the wet paint by a surface contaminant such as oil or silicone. The depression may or may not reveal the surface under the paint. Make sure the surface is clean.

Etching Primer
If you are going to be painting any aluminum, you are going to need an etching primer. This primer can also be used on steel. It is two-parts (not like epoxy, though) and tends to "bite aggressively" into the metal. It really stinks to have your paint stick well to your primer, but the primer releases from the metal. One of the major benefits is that you can paint over the primer in 1/2 hour, about the time it takes you to clean your gun and mix the paint.

OTHER PAINT RELATED STUFF
Additives: You can get anti fisheye additives, hardeners, flatteners, catalysts, metallics, metal flake, pearls, and reducers to mention a few. Get an anti fisheye thats compatible with the paint you use.
Masks Use a good quality dual cartridge mask for all work. Don't skimp, get the charcoal cartridges, they stop most aromatic vapors.
