Tip & How-To about Miscellaneous
I had contacted "Made of steel Balustrades" in November 2018, to obtain a quote for manufacturing and installing balustrades in my home. The receptionists had arranged for their director, David Meano to come out to give me the quote.
He provided us with a reasonable quote and we decided to go with him. We paid a deposit in November 2018 and advised that we needed the Ballustrades installed by latest 31 January 2019. David had insisted that he can meet this deadline.
I contacted him in December and he advised that all was in order. I contacted him several times in January 2019 and each time he advised that it will be in the next week. Eventually I had to get my husband to contact him. He gave my husband the run around for weeks until we threatened that he would need to pay our rent as we could not occupy our home until the staircase was on. After much begging he fitted the staircase two days before 28 February the day we were moving in. Whilst fitting it on he also damaged my expensive tiles.
David is the worst supplier I have ever worked with and continues to lie. He has now advise that the wooden rail he was contracted to fit on the staircase wont be done as he has financial issues.
I would advise anyone wanting to use the services of this company to think twice as their service is pathetic and they do not deliver as promised or at all in my circumstances.
David Meano is a compulsive liar and i suggest you don't trust anything that he says.
