Chrysler Voyager Sentry Key Immobilizer System Problem

If your key is grey, and you would like to bypass the transponder system you need 2 working keys to program it, this kit comes with a bypass box, and a transponder loop, and only has 2 wires to hook up. Let me know if you still need to bypass it

Spray a little bit of fuel in the intake if it runs by doing that your fuel pump is most likely out. , Thats what my 1994 GMC did to me as well.

Grand Cherokee won't start

Try starting the vehicle in another gear. If this happens, the problem is with your neutral safety switch. I have seen this issue on Chrysler and Dodge minivans and the owners changed the starter and the problem continued. It wound up being the neutral safety switch.

I have a 2004 Dodge

Quote from some page.
immobilizer bypass, bypass kit technology: A transponder bypass (immobilizer bypass, bypass kit, databus bypass) is a pretty simple idea. Some different techniques are involved, depending on who's product you are using, but the idea is the same. Put a working, programmed transponder key in the vehicle, and you can use an auto starter for example.

The problem of course is that you render that wonderful transponder protected ignition redundent. You now have nothing better than a plain ignition switch protecting your car. In many cases, these ignitions can be picked or bypassed in a matter of moments by a pro.

You better have them wire up your cutoff switch to the auto starter, because without fuel the starter is kinda pointless.

I know of vehicles that have been stolen right from peoples parking lots and driveways while the eat diner. Being near to your car is no guarantee of security.

One guy I met had his truck stolen while he was in a coffee shop. When he called the insurance company, they asked him if he had an auto starter. They couldn't NOT pay him, because the theives still had to pick the lock, because he took his keys with him. Still, it shows you just how fast you can lose a vehicle.

We understand that your problem

Unfortunately the 555CW bypasses were horribly unreliable, and they seemed to be worse with specific years and models of vehicles. Even temperature change effected how well they worked and there really isn't any way to tell if/when they would act up or work right. They were quickly discontinued since most of us installers refused to use them. There are a couple bypasses available right now that would work much better. I'm not sure what the model and year of your truck is, but the PKALL bypass is a programmable module that works on most daimler chrysler vehicles and doesn't require you to give up a key. If you want a quick easy bypass that's really cheap you can use a TBX-Key bypass. They're a universal transponder key bypass that works for every vehicle and they're inexpensive, the downside is you have to give up a key for that one.

If you have a newer Dodge you can use a DBALL module although that particular one requires a firmware update specific to the year and model and you'd have to go to a shop/dealer that sells DEI to have the module flashed to the appropriate firmware. Installation on bypasses same with any remote start/alarm system is pretty specialized and technical so unless you have a fair amount of experience with car electrical you'd probably want to have it done at an authorized install shop. Don't go pay a Dodge dealer for repairs, they'll charge you an arm & a leg with the end result probably being the system removed. Hope that helps.

My volvo 440 1995 m reg. I drove the car back home

I'm pretty sure your starter wire under your dash is green/red, there should be a relay attached to this wire, if there is jumper the blue and the yellow wire on the relay together they should be labled pin 30 and pin 87, now you should be able to start your car

I changed my battery, and now my key is not

Make contact with your local Chrysler dealer or if it`s an after market install look at the manual, if you don`t have it, find out the brand then go find them on the web for more information/downloading the manual.
Hope that helps...

A common problem is the battery tab on the circuit board. We repair this by reheating the solder joint on the circuit board where the battery tab is attached.
