A good very experienced refrigeration guy may be able to repair the evap. coil. This will depend on exactly where the crack is....
The pipe will need to be brazed with a high temperature brazing and then the whole system vacumed down and recharged.
If the crack cannot be fixed then you be be better off to get a new machine...
