Most likely failed capacitors in the power supply. I recently had the same problem with my 26 month old Samsung LN46A750. Samsung paid for the installation of an upgraded power supply board.

Sounds like the power board has some bad capacitors, a kit is available online that contains the most common ones that fail.

go into the menu for the color or brightness and contrast..try to change a bit at a time..

It is the Power supply board in your tv. There will be some electrolyte capacitors responsible for this.

Unfortunately although Samsung make great screens they do have a big problem with power supplies. The one in mine went 3 times before I replaced the screen. We have a lot of Samsung's at work and we replace 5-10 power supplies per year. If it's under warranty it'll be done at no cost otherwise you're looking at around $250 (Australian) unfortunately.

you could have a faulty LCD/t-con ribbon connection, or a failing LCD panel. I would suggest you try and reseat the ribbon cables to the panel and t-con, if you are comfortable doing this!
