The normal usage time for lamps are 6500 hours, thats a little under three years depending on the use of the television, These lamps last longer when they are not turned off and on all the time. Have you tried the soft reset for this set? Menu, 1,2,3 enter? There is also a hard reset in the hidden Option menu you can try.
