it probably has a leak & needs freon. in most cases there are no ports to check the freon level. you will have to add them. if you dont know how to do this it will be cheaper for you to go buy a new one vs. paying somone to fix it.

llok in the back by compressor . also if the wirign sch is on unit find the wiring and folow to it .. repair clinic is on the right track and when you find it and replace it problem over .. it 's not hard to find . .. mm

you will like this,same thing happened to someone i know and they went into thier local dealer and asked to borrow a key,the dealer said yes but will take a $25 deposit for the return within 48hours.
guess what.....the first key did not fit,but the third one did.....happy ending......i supose they could have taken the cooler to the dealer,but is was full of beer......

Hi, sounds like an "overload and relay" on the compressor.
This is the equivalent to a starter on a car. When they go bad, the compressor just does a "buzzzzz.. click" about every 5 to ten minutes. In the worst case, you may have a bad compressor, but this is less common.
It's more likely to be a relay starter problem which is usually located near the compressor, all you need do is change it.

It should be repairable. You would need a Heating/ Air Conditioning repair shop to silver solder the hole closed, and possibly sweat on a valve to evacuate and refill the system. I would call around and ask if the shops do this sort of thing. I had a similar repair done on a window air conditioner, and it saved me money!
