Sounds like the cold control has stuck . Unplug the two wires from the cold control and plug them together. Turn one wire over and plug it into the other. away from the cold control.
The cold control is the knob in the ref that turns it on and off and has numbers on it.
If it runs then that cold control is the problem.
If this doesn't work Do this

That is probably the compressor relay or cold control (Thermostat
The relay is on the compressor and needs replaced
A relay starts the compressor with a higher voltage and then quickly kicks out
Thats what is happening with yours
Its best for a tech to replace The relay but you can do it
Take your model number to your Local Appliance parts store they will have a diagram
showing you how to install the relay. Its called a hard start relay
also try hooking the two wires together on the cold control to route around the cold control.

The problem you face is during the defrost period. Now one posibility is that the temperature during this period is increasing higher than the set one and this mean the defrost sensor need to be replaced or the complete thermostat is the problem thus you need a new one.
The second opion is again due to the themostat mulfaction with sensor the tempreruture that it reads is wrong so it need again anew thermostat.
However if you need a practical solution to temorary solved the bazzer problem and since the cooler temeprature is ok and it cools normal then you have one option to just desconect-cut the one of the two wires going to the alarm buzzeer thus with this the buzzer will mute. However in this case you should check often the temperatures visualy since now you will not have any alarm.

hi,replace the bulb with a lower wattage then check for a circuit breaker at the back reset it .if no breaker is found just wait for the motor to cool down then power on again theres no damage with the compressor need no to replace..to reset the breaker just turn off the breaker and power it on again thank you and good day!

Try this link the guys should be able to supply the spares, but you may have to buy locks and keys unless you have the key numbers, the numbers are sometimes on the face of the lock in tiny figures, but I can't promise they will be there

How did you determine this ?

Allow it to work for some more time 2 hours and if there is no cooling at all, then your compressor needs a check. If the set is old can the gas have leaked off.?
These two factors must be checked out , the compressor and gas..

A sealed system leak should be covered under warranty.

try Sears parts direct online first. They carry a wide variety of parts for several makes and models of refrigeration units.

all fridge freezers lifespan of unit around 10 years.the closer you get to the end of life the more sense in replacing with new, more efficient one.

There is a start / run / thermal overload relay on the 3 compressor input terminals that has 3 functions

1. enage the start winding

2. switch to run winding

3. Protect the winding in the event of a bad start or locked compressor rotor.

If it is actually starting but not running at full speed / normal RPM the run capacitor can also be bad.

Unless the compressor is locked up... the cost to repair the unit is worth the expense. The only thing that would be bad news is if the repair person told you the compressor rotor is locked and the compressor needs replaced.

From the symptoms you described you have a compressor run component failure and the the compressor rotor is not locked.

Mould is a bacteria

Clean out the unit and wash the area with a strong soda solution.

Also wash the bottles which will carry the same bacteria

Dry throughly

Have you tried this http://www.franklinchef.com/service_call.html for a service. With the unit being this new, it's under warranty. Your sealed system is warrantied for 5 years. This is why you are having trouble finding someone to work on it plus Franklin Ind. does not want to pay the service company when they are sent the bill. Where are you located. If your close, i'll see what I can do about repairing it for you. Expect to have to pay for service from anyone due to the service company having so much trouble getting paid themselves. Although you should be reimbursed after Franklin pays.

Unfortunately there is no way by which you can decrease its temp to 35. All wine coolers have a condenser and it does need to clean out from time to time so that the cooler remains cool- you can clean it and see how it goes, it is a normal maintenance to keep the cooler working cool.

Look in your yellow pages for someone who does commercial refrigeration repair. Don't expect them to do the repair under warranty, tell them you're willing to pay for the repair.
