Don't over mix the batter. Let it be slightly lumpy you don't want to mix every bit of flour to a totally smooth batter. Let is have a few lumps in it.

I had the same problem, so I contacted their customer service at (866) 832-4843.
I was informed they don't replace that part anymore.

Replacement handles are not availble, fro bella cucina waffle makers, ( they are too CHEEP to provice replacement parts) they want your to buy a NEW waffle maker.

check the wirings from the controls,check the fuse/termal fuse and check the heating fillament make sure it is not brocken or open..

spray very light pam cooking spray before EVERY waffle until it stop sticking, at which point the application will only be reduced, not unecessary
