I have replaced the battery but still having
This is more of a hardware problem but a reset can be performed by holding on the power button for 10 seconds. The problem is related to the timing device(that measures the time the laser has taken to reach the target) is not triggering correctly which I think is causing the problem. Though I hate to say this its probably time for a repair.
How do I remove water from INSIDE my Nikon A211
Get some industrial size silica gel bags and warm them in the oven. Put a couple of bags inside a large Ziploc bag with the binoculars and leave them in a warm place like an airing cupboard for a week. It there is a lot of water, remove the object lenses (the large end, they should unscrew) and shake the water out. The gel packs last forever and can be dried out in the oven before use. I have some from the mid 1960s as my dad used got them at work from rolls of copper foil that were delivered to make printed circuit board.
