Hi i wanted to upgrade my poweredge 840 and use it for gaming, but it wont let me disable on board gpu. screens just go black, when invidia pluged in. can you help? or is there a MSI motherboard with

The problem that you are having is that the unit you are trying to upgrade is a SERVER, and not a desktop PC. There are notable differences in how servers are built. One is that they are not all that concerned with graphics and graphics performance, since they normally operate "in the dark" and are often accessed remotely. I did some research on the Dell site and saw a comment about your problem in one of their forums. I provide the link below. It should be informative. I cannot get the Dell PowerEdge 840 to recongize and of my HDD in the Raid array.. Trying to install the OS but tells my on HDD is detected

Then you need to get into the BIOS of the PERC RAID controller and inspect the state of the physical/logical volumes. Reboot the machine and watch for the prompt after the PERC5/6 RAID controller loads it's BIOS. Considering this a null issue given the age, though...

We have a Power edge 840 that can't not detect any

Check both the POWER and the DATA cables between the motherboard and the HDD (Hard Disk Drive).
Remove them, and then re-insert them.

Try connecting the DATA cable to an alternate connector on the motherboard.

Remove the HDD, and connect it to another computer,
to see if the HDD can be detected on that computer.
If not, the HDD is the problem.

Will only power up for

It sounds like an overheating problem. The newer cpu's have a thermal shutdown sensor that automatically shuts down system if it senses a temp that is too high. Common solution would be to check your cpu/ chassis fan and see if they are working. If not replace.

Power is 2950 i912 sel full

Namrata_stha, The I912 error is referring to the System Event Log is full of events and because of this is unable to log anymore. You must clear the log in order for the Server Management controller to log any more events. Now depending on the OS installed there are different ways to clear it. If Windows Server 2k8 you would use this command - wevtutil el ' foreach { wevtutil cl $_ } Where with Server 2003 you can go tot he Event viewer and clear it. Let me know if this helps.

Dell poweredge t105 freezes at boot

You will have to get into the controlled setup in order to find out what the problem is, or you can simply hit ctrl-D and do the Dell disk diagnostics which will take an hour or more, but will give you an idea of where to start. Logically, if it won't boot, then your RAID is probably broken. it can sometimes be repaired through either the RAID or controller setup menu, which you can see during boot. go here, for the manuals and documentation on how to do that: http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/product-support/product/poweredge-t105/manuals
