Is the Vizio Logo Orange when you plug in the set? If not, most likely you have a power supply fault
I have no signal with I turn on my tv, I
tried to reset first the dish then check if it can get signal now, if still no signal receive you can hooked up the dish to the other tv just to ensure if the cause will be in the tv. just let me know if it works, if the same problem the cause will be the dish has a problem.
Im only getting half a picture
most LCD sets use two boards (or one with both in it) for this, one drives half the screen and the other the other half.Possible bad board or bad connection where the board connected to the panel===that would be the worst case as the display which is called a panel could have a issue inside which is fatal costwise.
My remote will not work
the remote can be tested by itself by all tv shops, some remotes will with a digital camera in a very dim room react on their display screen when remote points at them and buttons are pressed.

Check its backlight CCFL lamps and its inverter board.

No sound no picture
In other words it is dead. The troubleshooting should be done by its main power supply regulator board itself. Contact any experienced service technician.
Can i shut off automatic room adjustment
Menuselect picturescroll down to advanced video and select itscroll down to advanced adaptive luma turn it off and then turn off back light control that should help with the annoying auto adjusting
