You reversed the black and white wires on what? Don't ever do that. One is the line and one is common. They are polarized for a reason. Immediately stop using that outlet before you burn your house down. Switch the breaker off to that power circuit, then have a qualified electrician check it out.

Sounds like not getting sufficient water. Replace water valve if that's the case.

From what you have mentioned I understand the dishwasher moves through the whole wash and drain cycle but you do not hear the water moving inside the dishwasher and even though it completes the program but leaves dishes dirty.

Please check if the dish washer is warm in the end, I am assuming your dishwasher has an internal water heater. Also observe if the wash cycle is running longer than it used to before. This is the time it takes between filling water and when drain pump starts running.

I am assuming you have already done the normal checks of cleaning the bottom of the diswasher and checking the washer arms holes are clear.

If the dishwasher is totally silent during the wash cycle then the wash motor is not starting and a possible reason is that its start capacitor is not functional. (part 26). If you are not familiar with electrical stuff then you will have to get a technician to fix it.

It looks like there is not enough water pressure to spin the spray arms. Loss of pressure may be due to various things, like damaged seal, cracked tubes, clogged filters, screens etc.
I suggest you take a look at the technician repair sheet that should be stored inside the front panel at the bottom of the door. Remove that panel under the door with screw driver. Inside, attached to the panel, you should find a troubleshooting guide and solution for technician. But it is easy to follow. Look at the section under "poor wash" and follow its recommendation. I had exact same problem - not enough water pressure. In my case, the chopper screen was clogged and the chopper assemply was broken. I followed the repair instruction above to remove the chopper assembly, cleaned the chopper screen and the washer now is as good as new. I will need to replace the chopper when the part arrives.
