press the "2" button on the remote while pressing & holding the stop button on the device, something like OP 86 will come up on the lcd display, repeat the same procedure and press "enter" afterwards, the device should restart and the problem should be solved.

no sound out of my Lg-lht754 system, only video. Could someone help me out.

4. Press 0, 0, 0, (0)
5. Enter region (1-6; 0=region free)
6. (Press PAUSE)
7. Turn it off

I did some research on this, but was unable to find out how to adjust bass and treble control individually. this is a link to the users manual (not sure if you have or not). You can download it if you like. I did, read through it, and didn't find anything to solve your issue. Unfortunately, this is a common setup for a lot of newer sound systems. Since they are digital, to achieve superior performance, they keep the settings digital and dont allow for fine tuning of the lower and upper frequencies (bass and treble).

are u runing tv throw system and video ? with hdmi then back up to tv hdmi best to run hdmi cable from dvdplaye rto tv direct ok then dish box ect cable hdmi out direct also to tv then use optical out put digital on tv outto sterio digital in on back ok for tru 5.1 best way to do this is this way

As for the sound, there are some players that has different volume controls for each speaker, so check the volume of the speaker through your remote.

Or maybe the sound I.C of the player is bad.

You might just loose the Player with a screw driver and you may probably see what's wrong with it and if you don't, couple it back and put it on, don't be surprised to see your player working properly.

My Samsung player hung such that no button functions. What I did was just to loose it and clean the inside and by the time I coupled it back, it started working perfectly up till now.

Note that this could only work if the player is not having any major fault.

try to increse the volume centre channel level so that u could hear better vocals. or do one thing if u r connected with optical cable only. just connect single RCA cable from dvd players centre channel output to the TV input (Left/mono) so that u can only hear the center channel volume thru TV and all other from speakers even the LG is working..

I have the same problem. I tried to get it fixed by sending it to my retailer (Best Buy) who then sent it to the LG company and they said everything was fine. But there was one problem with their diagnostic...it wasn't. The subwoofer worked fine when i originally bought it, but about a month later it would not work or it would work intermittently. It literally takes about an hour for this thing to start working, and now my right speaker has started to not work. My judgment is that this product is poorly made and the service people at LG are incompetent!

Check which Channel you are using on the Remote. i.e. 2.1 Multichannel or Auto the Centre Speaker and the 2 rear speakers don't work if its 2.1 channel setting
