The on off switch is the bail, if it is up it will not dump the ice the device that causes it to cycle is the thermostat

is it on?, it there power, is there water coming to the machine ,? is the bail arm down

check water supply and if that is good you need a new valve

put a insulated screwdriver across the terminals always unplug before working on unit

try using a good water filter

Hi, I recently ran into this issue at our shop, I called the factory and they suggested to replace the thermostats and temp control to the ice maker. This was not the case, apparently there are two different ice makers that look identical but they are different in how they run. the fins on the back of the unit need cleaning..it cannot cool thru the fins if they are covered..i recommend a thorough cleaning inside and more importantly..the cooling fins..

Make sure the water fill valve is shuting off for a while after start up . try turning off the water after it fills for one cycle and see if it makes a batch of ice
