Best to get a refund of your money as you will definitely loose the signal when the replacement satellite kicks in on Dec 2011. could be a couple things. First I would check the cable(s) from the dish to the box. Check whether the connections are corroded, but also check the insulation. squirrels, rats mice and birds love to eat the stuff. You have a signal leak somewhere. If everything looks good there, you might check the positioning of the dish itself. maybe it moved during a storm.

The axles may have substantial amount of in/out play, 1/4 inch or more. Does the axle in question actually drive the wheel or does it freewheel?It's a typical differential so if you get both wheels off the ground and spin one wheel, the other wheel should rotate in the opposite direction.The axles are retained by the differential assembly (inside transmission) so if the axle is truly falling out, to fix it will require transmission be removed and opened. Probably not an economical repair unless you can DIY or replace with good used unit.
