Reset your copier to default settings:

Go to Service Mode by pressing Additional Function + 2 + 8 (Simultaneously) then Press Additional Function again. Go to CLEAR and Select ALL.

Please be reminded that this will erase ALL data on your printer.

Short two pins at JP141 on PCB with screwdiver or paperclip. Should be lower left of image processor PCB. Have to remove back cover, short or connect two pins, then power on machine this will reset.

I believe this is just a glitch in the copier. You need to do a printer reset. I do believe this will get rid of all the internal information of the copier -addresses, network setting, etc. Hopefully someone printed out the data lists after the intial install. Press the additional function key, 2 key, 8 key, additional function key. Press the left arrow key, below the display, until #CLEAR comes up. Press OK, then left arrow until ALL. Press OK. Then wait and copier will cycle. Hopefully all is well then. You will ahve to intall all, settings as a new install. Good luck.

The procedure for stop copy is you press red and then machine ask you left or right pointer for yes or no.Is thath way did you stop copying?

If yes it may be machine system problem.

If the toner isnt burned on paper it means that you have to change fixing roller bushings and fixing roller.
Because you have uneven pressure between fixing and press roller

Try ordering the glass from the parts department of the manufacturer. That way you'll know the glass is the correct type and size.

Try this... Turn ON the power while pressing and holding keys 1 and 9... If this doesn't solve the problem, contact your nearest Canon service center for upgrade of your machine firmware...
