Why is my calculator frozen?
Is the cursor checkered? If so, there is no more space on the entry line. Use the DEL key to shorten it or clear it. Clear the RAM also.

I cant take the IRR of L1
What happens when you try? Do you get an error message? If so, what does it say? You are giving at least two arguments to the irr() function, aren't you?

How to enter theta
Make sure you're doing polar plots. Press MODE and look at the fourth line. If "POL" is not highlighted then use the arrow keys to move the cursor there and press ENTER. Exit the mode screen by pressing 2ND QUIT.
You can then enter theta by pressing the X,T,theta,n key just below the MODE key.

I have a TI-84 and when i put a negative number it appears Ans before how can change that?
Use the (-) key to the right of the decimal point key when entering a negative number. The - key to the right of the 6 key is for subtracting something from something else. In order to subtract from something, if you don't specify anything then the calculator uses the previous answer as designated by "Ans." The same thing happens with the + key for example, because it adds something to something else.

There is no such thing as a TI89 Plus Silver Edition.
If you mean the TI-89 or TI-89 Titanium, press diamond / (the diamond key below the 2ND key, then the divide key).
If you mean the TI-83 Plus Silver Edition or the TI-84 Plus Silver Edition, press MATH left-arrow 4 .

My calculator screen wont turn on
TI calculators have an annoying habit of dimming the screen when the
batteries are changed so that it appears as if the calculator isn't
turning on. Turn the calculator on (or at least press the ON key).
Press and release the 2ND key. Press and hold the Up-arrow key for a
few seconds and see whether the screen becomes legible.

My graphing calculator says invalid dim
You're probably trying to graph a function that does not involve stat
plot features. You can correct this by turning off the stat plot
features. Press "2ND" "STAT PLOT" and then select 4:PlotsOff.
