hi Dstein556.As long as the files are related to the films and any other files you have saved,then yes you can.but if you are still not happy to do this then just delete mts files first and check to make sure all is well,if so then delete the cpi files.again if your still not sure then,then just copy the files mts cpi to a disc.then when you have done that.if anything goes wrong you can put the files back if needed.or if you have enough space with leaving the mts and the cpi files on there then just leave them there.but what ever you do will be at your own risk.

You need to format camcorder hard drive through Format option in camcorder menu itself.
Please check camcorder menu and hard drive section for Format option, this will delete all files on hard drive and solve your problem.
