Vx2260wm How do I get the case open? Saw only 2

Use very thin screw driver to pop up the front bezel but do not completely remove the bezel, just enough to pop the back off when you place the front of the monitor on the table top facing odwn on top of a towel. It is a little hard for me to explain in words. You can also serach YOUTUBE.
See vx2255 which is the same chassis.

My viewsonic VP930b-3 LCD monitor went too dark

Based on the specs it looks like this monitor is a CFL type and not a LED type. That means it uses a inverter to power the CFL tubes in the LCD. Usually these go bad after awhile.. usually the capacitors on the board run dry or go bad and need to be replaced. If your not good with soldering you might be able to find a board to replace it with.. more then likely given the monitor size "small" the inverter board is usually built-in on to the power supply board or mainboard and will need to be replaced together but some times comes seperate as it's own board. You might just consider replacing the monitor, LED monitors are pretty cheap now a days and more energy efficient.. and should last longer then most CFL type monitors because they don't use as much current and don't produce as much heat and LEDs tend to last longer with out the yellowing effect of CFLs. However it really comes down to build quality & component quality. While the most likely cause is a bad inverter other things can cause this too..like a bad mainboard sending voltage signal lower then normal to the inverter board.

I replaced the video board on viewsonic vx2235wm-5 now video turns on then off

That is a power supply problem not a video board problem. You will need to either rebuild or replace the power supply to fix that problem.

My ViewSonic VX2235wm will come on for about 3

Look for bad caps as shown in my pictures here:

If you are going to DIY and have proper tools and know safety precaution then please read on:
Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, blown fuses; poor solder joints, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.
