Sunbeam 5891 Bread Maker - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Can't remove kneading blade
If you baked bread in it and cannot get the paddle free, put enough water in the pan to cover the paddle and let it set for 5 or 10 min to soak the bread crust that formed between the shaft and the paddle. Then take a hold of the shaft on bottom of pan with hand or pliers to hold it still and try to work the paddle clockwise with other hand until it becomes unwedged from shaft. Sometimes it gets wedged on shaft pretty tight due to the beating against dough ball and cooked bread holds it tightly wedged.

Sunbeam 5891 Bread Machine
The drive belt has
The upper and lower shell snap together. I removed screws from the bottom and could not separate the shell. I them unscrewed the metal shroud from the inside and removed it. It is a tight fit. You will see the snaps inside. I pushed on a couple of the snaps and the shell came apart. I am sure you will be able to address your issue from there. I am trying to find out why the heating element won't work on my machine.

I have had my bread machine now ten years. Last
Your drivebelt has probably either broken or come off. Make sure your machine isunplugged and turn it on its side and take the bottom panel off. The belt is inthere. If it has snapped or come off you'll need to replace it. I have a fewbelts that might fit.
Hopefully yourbelt will have letter/number code on the smooth side. It will look something like this: STS 80 S3M 561 Email me that code to [email protected]. If I have it I could sell you the belt. There are several videoson you tube that show how to put a belt on a bread machine and you couldinstall it yourself if I have the belt you need.As a thank you for my helpplease goto Amazon and type my full name inthe Amazon search bar, which is, Daryl Wayland Nash If you enjoyreading good fiction, mystery, suspense, horror I think you will enjoy my new novella "Lived" It will scare your socks off! If you enjoy the read please writea 3-4 sentence review of it on Amazon and share your thoughtsabout the book with thousands of other readers! Doesn't that sound like fun! Happy Baking too! Daryl

Can't remove the kneading blade
My method should be used only on the thickcast aluminum pans not the thinner light weight pans because they can bend. . Readers, pleasesee my new novella of mystery, horror, and suspense on Amazon. Just type my full name in the Amazon searchbar..which is Daryl Wayland Nash or just google me to get to Amazon. Happy Baking and .....Reading! Whatyou need to do is get a strong shoelace or piece of string about 3 ft. long, 2hot pads placed on the edges of the pan to protect your fingers,& 2 emptymilk jugs filled with water. Tie one end of the string around the postthe paddle sits on in the little space between the bottom of the paddle and thepan and knot it. Loop the other end ofthe string through the handles of the jugs short enough so that when you turnthe pan upside down the jugs hang about a foot off the ground. Bend yourknees a little so you in a position kind of like a short stop inbaseball. Then lift and drop the pan about 4 to 6 inches so the jugs kindof POP the string. You can hear the seal of the baked on gunk breaking itseal on the first pop and then the paddle comes flying free with the secondpop....If it hasn't popped off by the 4th or 5th pop youwill have to try other methods. Emailme if that is the case. I haveposted a video on you tube of how to do it just type in "how to remove a stuckbread machine paddle" in the youtube search bar.Glad to beof help!
