What are you running for a signal. Are you putting a digital signal into an anolog tv? Are you coming out of a cable box?

The input is not "seeing" the signal from your game---try another input and make sure connections are correct and the set is switched to the input you hooked up to(they are labeled on the back)

Try another input and check hookup and the cables being used---if get no disc, cannot read disc etc the problem is in the player itself.

This is the Power Board for it. check those 6 electrolytic Capacitors on the right for bulging or splitting. Don't buy it blindly, it's a guess. It can't be done. The DVD remote will be single frequency for that device only and the LG remote for that LG Blu Ray (or series) only. Companies don't make cross-control between makers easy. The only exception is cable and satellite boxes to allow their remote to also control the television.
