Power Supply Cooling Fan Motor Failure - The Power Supply Cooling Fan Motor Lock signal remains set to H for a set period of time while the Power Supply Cooling Fan Motor is turning. - The Power Supply Cooling Fan Motor Lock signal remains set to L for a set period of time while the Power Supply Cooling Fan Motor remains stopped.

Remedy

1 Check the M4 connectors for proper connection, and correct as necessary. 2 Check the fan for possible overload, and correct as necessary. 3 M4 operation check PWB-A PJ33A-1 (REM) D-5 4 Change PU1.

Replace the developer. If that does not work replace the ATDC sensor located under the image unit. Has multi-color ribbon cable. If not that then the main control board. Best bet would be replace the developer and ensure you clear the counter for develop and run the F8 process after replacing the developer. DO NOT USE A VACCUM CLEANER to replace the developer because the static electricity from the vacuum cleaner can destroy the sensor. Also the copier uses the counters to adjust voltages for certain assy. so if you replace the developer and don't clear the counters then the machine will adjust voltages for a used drum or developer when in reality the developer or the drum are new. Causing image problems and codes such as 2257. Also recommend the drum and cleaning blade be replaced, does the control panel in the upper left say replace the PC drum? Recommended that allow only KonicaMinolta tech do it, you must replace the developer, drum cleaning blade, Developing unit and run the required F8.
