this usually depends on the type and brand of detergent you use. for example if you use standard detergent and it takes 1 cup, then you use concentrated detergent and it takes 1/2 cup. you have to check the detergent container for proper amount to use. for most detergents it is around 3/4 to 1 cup of detergent.

holla, Im not showing a E20 code on the tech sheet. There is a E21. Water not draining fast enough. Try holding the start/pause and cancel key together for 3 seconds. The door lock, wash, rinse and final spin leds should light. Any error codes should be displayed when holding those keys. If you see a different error code, post it. If not, I would suspect a clogged pump...Catriver.

There is a large spring that holds the front seal in place. Weird that it came off.

disconnect from power take top of machine look down at gasket thre is a eire clamp locate the screw in the wire and un scew till wire loose enough to come of then remove gasket if srew underneath put top back on and tip machine on one side carefully and look for screw the wire is just a very large hose clamp

I understand that your Frigidaire washer is showing an "E23" error code. Based off the information I show "E23" stands for drain pump relay on board failed or wire off the pump. Which means you could have an issue within the main control board or wiring to pump. Does water fill the tub after the first drain cycle on start up? Whether it does or not, you more than likely have a problem with the main "brain" or, controller. Try different cycles to see if any thing happens. If not , you most definitely need to replace the controller. This should be left up to a professional repair person. Or, if your mechanically inclined you could tackle the job yourself. Hope this helps.
