Locating fluff filter on aeg washer/dryer
I have the same problem with mine. There isn't a fluff filter that you can get to easily. When the engineer came to fix something else he showed me this big tube thing inside the machine that had the inside coated with fluff. The machine wasn't very old and I only use the dryer for underwear (apparently towels make it much worse). So ... you'll have to get someone to dismantle the machine to get to the fluff. I was wondering if it is covered by the guarantee because it is ruining my washing.
Water in the Softerner compartment
The softener drawer cover is designed to siphon out most of the water that runs into the drawer so, when the wash is over, the drawer should always be nearly empty. Unclip and take out the detergent drawer, unclip the softener cover and fill the softener tray with water. Clip the softener cover back on and the water should run out immediately. If it doesn't then a small blockage in any of the 3 pipes in the cover can completely stop the siphon action. Cleaning them out is generally all that's needed.
My aeg washer dryer comes up with e20 flashing
I had the same problem (E20) for a long time and tried everything in the manual before I called AEG to have someone stop by and fix it.
He took the whole top off as well as the back and pulled out all this fuzz that was stopped somewhere. He said it normally comes from using too much detergant and also from not letting the machine run empty every now and then....but it doesn't say to do this in the manual. And anyway, I can't imagine that using too much wash powder made 1/2 kg of fluff.
I still have a guarantee on the machine, but they say that because it is my fault that I got E20 I have to pay for the repairment myself.
I actually think that they build the machine purposly in this way to keep up the money flow. I have an attorney on the case now.
How To reset EFO code
Hi. EF0 is suggesting an internal leak which operates a float switch inside the cabinet at the base. It could be a leak (split door seal, hose, etc) or over-foaming causing a momentary leak. Dry the base and inspect. A blocked condenser on the dryer can cause the drum to overfill on wash. I have also witnessed the code come up when the drain pump is jammed..odd as this should be E20. If it drains ok ignore that!.
How to clean your washing machine
You could run a 90deg wash with nothing in the machine then with a damp cloth wipe in and around the door seal. (A lot of gunk gathers in the door seal). Clean out your filter in front of the machine as wel.
Also keep an eye in the shops for a washing machine cleaner which u put into the machine on an empty load usually on a wash above 60deg
